| The opening session is not designed to finish the journey. It is designed to make the road trustworthy enough to begin. TLiCHL Year Five |
Welcome Home. Tonight we begin the fifth year of Transformative Life Coaches and Healing Leaders. We are not entering a course that asks us to collect information only. We are entering a journey that asks us to examine what we embody, protect, practice, and become.
Session Purpose
Welcome Journeyers to the fifth year of Transformative Life Coaches and Healing Leaders. Together, we will establish H “OM” E as a Brave Space, introduce the ethical identity of a Transformative Life Coach and Healing Leader, enter the original Land of WizOz, and identify the HEAL-IDS chamber that feels most alive at the start of the journey.
Learning Outcomes
• Describe TLiCHL as a certification, a practice, and a Love More way of being.
• Differentiate transformative coaching from transactional coaching and distinguish coaching from psychotherapy.
• Explain why ethics is the atmosphere surrounding every chamber, relationship, and coaching tool.
• Describe the purpose of the Land of WizOz, the Yellow Brick Road, Home B.A.S.E., and ethical simulation.
• Name the Seven Chambers of HEAL-IDS: Healing, Energy, Affirmations, Love, Identity, Dreams, and Success.
• Explain that the Healing Scale opens a participatory conversation and must never be used as a diagnosis, label, ranking, or verdict.
• Identify one personal “first brick” and one ethical boundary for the certification journey.
CORE LOVE MORE PRINCIPLE
People are the medicine, not the patients. This principle does not deny the importance of professional care. It protects every Journeyer from being reduced to a diagnosis, a deficit, a crisis, a score, a charge, or a wound.
Opening Check-In: “I Came to This Road Because… __________________________________________”
Monday, August 3, 2026, marks the start of the fifth year of Transformative Life Coaches and Healing Leaders. We arrive at this threshold with gratitude for every Journeyer, Elder, facilitator, partner, family member, and community that helped shape this journey. TLiCHL has never been a finished product but has always been a living curriculum, strengthened by the wisdom of those who enter it and by the communities that call us to practice what we teach.
The program was born during a period when the world was confronting grief, isolation, uncertainty, racial injustice, and profound disruption. We learned that healing could not be postponed until conditions became comfortable. We learned that leadership had to become more human, coaching had to become more ethical, and communities needed Brave Spaces where pain could be named without letting it become our only identity.
This textbook builds on those lessons and is designed to preserve the foundations of TLiCHL while enabling each new cohort to contribute insight, language, applications, and lived wisdom. It should therefore be read as both a textbook and a travel journal: a source of knowledge, a guide to practice, and a record of becoming.
| THE FIFTH-YEAR INVITATION |
| Do not read this book only to remember information, but to reveal a mirror. Ask what each idea awakens, what each metaphor reveals, what each ethical principle protects, and what each chamber invites you to become. |
Home B.A.S.E. Learning Community Agreements
• No right or wrong – only real. We value authentic reflection over performance.
• We all get our truths. We do not edit, debate, or diminish another person’s lived experience.
• Confidentiality is sacred. We explain both the commitment and any legal or safety limits.
• Home is a Brave Space. We may be lovingly challenged, but no one is pressured into disclosure.
• We lead with love. We communicate with dignity, curiosity, and accountability.
• We honor the circle. We listen when others speak and limit side conversations and distractions.
• Healing takes time. We do not rush another person’s process or declare where they should be.
• Participation is power and choice. Presence can include speaking, writing, listening, pausing, or passing.
• Self-awareness is self-respect. Journeyers may step away, regulate, seek support, and return when ready.
• We are becoming the healing presence we once needed.
CONSENT CHECK
“Is there an agreement that needs clarification? Is there an additional practice that would help this room feel brave, respectful, and sustainable?” Record additions without promising what cannot be provided.
What Is TLiCHL
Transformative Life Coaches and Healing Leaders (TLiCHL) is a Love More approach to personal healing, identification and birthing of gifts, forgiveness, intergenerational healing, reimagining Love as a sacred modality, ethical coaching, leadership development, and community transformation. It is designed for people who want to move beyond transactional knowledge bases and modalities. TLiCHL prepares Journeyers to become healing-centered presences who help others reconnect with their stories, gifts, agency, relationships, purpose, and possibilities.
The word transformative is intentional. Transactional coaching may help a person complete a task, solve an immediate problem, or improve performance. Transformative coaching asks how the person understands the problem, which story shapes the response, what pain or possibility underlies the goal, and what kind of person the Journeyer is becoming through the process.
The phrase healing leader is equally important. A Healing Leader does not need a formal title. Healing leadership is expressed whenever a person uses presence, relationship, accountability, cultural humility, and Love More practices to create conditions in which people and communities can breathe, tell the truth, reclaim dignity, and imagine a future beyond injury.
| LOVE MORE DEFINITION |
| A Transformative Life Coach is a “Cycle Breaker” who commits to “Turning the Station” and “Changing the Channel” in our lives, our families, and our communities. An ethical, healing-centered partner who helps Journeyers clarify their stories, reconnect with their gifts, strengthen agency, imagine possibilities, and take aligned action. A Healing Leader creates the relational and community conditions in which that work can become sustainable. |
What TLiCHL Is Not
TLiCHL is not a promise that every wound will disappear, a means of controlling another person, or a shortcut through grief. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment, substance-use treatment, legal assistance, crisis intervention, or other professional services when those services are needed. It is also not a platform for spiritual superiority, forced forgiveness, toxic positivity, or the belief that people suffer because they failed to think positively enough.
The TLiCHL coach does not stand above the Journeyer as the owner of truth. The coach walks beside the Journeyer as a disciplined listener, ethical questioner, possibility witness, and accountability partner. The goal is stronger self-trust, healthier interdependence, and greater capacity to participate in one’s own healing and transformation, not dependence on the coach.
We believe that the people are the medicine, not the patients, but this principle does not mean professional care is unnecessary. It means people must never be reduced to diagnoses, deficits, cases, or problems to be managed. People carry wisdom, culture, memory, relationships, gifts, survival intelligence, and the capacity to participate in their own healing. Ethical professionals, supportive communities, and appropriate services can all be part of the medicine when they honor that humanity.
Ethics is the Atmosphere
Ethics is not a single lesson we complete and leave behind. It is the atmosphere surrounding every coaching relationship, simulation, assessment, community project, referral, story, and use of influence. Knowledge without ethics can become manipulation. Influence without humility can become control. Service without boundaries can become harm or burnout.
Dignity
See the whole person. Never reduce someone to a wound, diagnosis, score, charge, mistake, or crisis. Autonomy and Consent
Explain the process, ask permission, and honor the right to pause, pass, or decline.
Confidentiality
Protect private information and explain legal, safety, and organizational limits before disclosure. Boundaries
Clarify roles, time, access, communication, finances, and relational expectations.
Scope and Referral
Do not diagnose or treat beyond training. Pause, consult, refer, and collaborate when needed. Cultural Humility
Remain curious about culture, identity, faith, history, power, and context. Do not impose one worldview.
Competence
Prepare carefully, practice within training, seek consultation, and continue learning. Accountability and Repair
Receive feedback, document responsibly, correct errors, and address harm.
The TLiCHL Ethical Pause
What support, consultation, documentation, or referral may be needed?
Do I have permission and informed consent?
Am I within my role, training, and competence?
Is there an immediate safety concern?
Am I listening, or am I trying to rescue, fix, control, or prove myself?
Is my own story entering the room?
REFERRAL IS NOT ABANDONMENT. Love is not proven by trying to handle every need alone. Ethical referral protects the Journeyer, the coach, the relationship, and the integrity of the movement.
The Land of WizOz is an original Love More universe for simulation, reflection, and transformation. It is not the original cast or storyline of Oz. Its Journeyers, Elders, guardians, antagonists, mythical beings, and landscapes make hidden patterns visible while creating enough distance to examine a difficult experience with curiosity and choice.
Characters Are Mirrors – Not Labels
A character may represent a strategy, wound, gift, relationship, temptation, fear, or possibility.
The facilitator never tells a Journeyer, “You are this character.”
Instead, ask: “What part of this character’s journey feels familiar?” or “What does this metaphor help you notice?”
The Journeyer owns the meaning and may reject, reinterpret, or pass on the metaphor.
The Ethical Simulation Cycle
| 1. Prepare Purpose, agreements, confidentiality, right to pause | 2. Enter: Meet the scene without forcing disclosure | 3. Pause Notice body, emotion, meaning, and agency |
| 4. Apply: Use HEAL-IDS, ethics, F.E.V.E.R.S., and coaching questions | 5. Choose: Identify one boundary, support, conversation, or next step | 6. Debrief Reconnect the metaphor to life and restore orientation |
The debrief is where metaphor becomes meaning, and meaning becomes practice.
The Yellow Brick Road through the HEAL-IDS Seven Chambers of Transformation
Each brick represents an intentional choice: telling the truth, asking for help, resting, apologizing, forgiving without unsafe access, setting a boundary, challenging a story, reclaiming a gift, leaving harm, or practicing a new response. The coach does not pull a Journeyer down the road. The coach helps the Journeyer see the landscape, protect agency, and choose the next aligned step.
| H | HEALING | From survival response to healing response. What needs care, repair, release, support, or a new relationship? | |
| E | ENERGY | From depletion and reactivity to regulation and intentional frequency. What am I carrying, feeding, absorbing, or ready to shift? | |
| A | AFFIRMATIONS | From inherited scripts to truthful, life-giving narratives. What truth deserves to become stronger than the story created by the wound? | |
| L | LOVE | From conditional worth and wounded attachment to self-love, boundaries, and repair. How can I become the healing presence I once needed? | |
| I | IDENTITY | From labels and trauma-shaped roles to reclaimed truth and belonging. Who am I beyond what happened and what others expected me to be? | |
| D | DREAMS | From fear and limitation to hope, vision, and divine purpose. What future is asking me to believe in and prepare for? | |
| S | SUCCESS | From external achievement alone to thriving, alignment, contribution, and legacy. What does success look like when my whole life helps define it? | |
| Choose the chamber that feels most alive, necessary, or curious right now. The choice is a reflection, not an assessment or diagnosis. | |||
